HOW TO MEASURE FOR CURTAIN WIDTH
After choosing your hardware, the next step is to decide the number of panels you need based on the width of your window. To decide on the number of panels needed, consider the following recommendations for 110-inch-wide panels:
Standard Window: If your window is up to 119 inches wide, use two panels (one on each side).
Wide Window: If your window is wider than 119 inches, use three or four panels (two on each side or spaced evenly across).
Narrow Window: If your window is less than 39 inches wide, it's possible to use one panel that can be pulled to one side if you have limited space.

We suggest minimum 2 panels per window depending on the width of the window.
HOW DO I MEASURE WIDTH FOR THE CURTAINS?
Each curtain panel is 55 or 110 inches without any hooks in.
55-inch-wide panel covers 30 inches when open or 13 inches when pleated closed.
110-inch-wide panel covers 60 inches when open or 26 inches when pleated closed. We recommend a minimum two panels per window; one on each side.
Amplify your space. The track or rod should be longer than the width of your window. This is to maximize the light from the window, and make your window appear bigger. We recommend the rod to extend at least 8 - 20 inches on each side of the window. We recommend the track to extend at least 6 - 20 inches on each side of the window.
For a luxurious look, we recommend the track or rod to extend 20 inches on each side of the window.
Example:
If your window is 39 inches you’ll need a 78 inch rod or track.
Sumptuous pleats. Our panels are made from double width fabric and are pleated with a four- finger hook to create a pinch pleat, giving the curtains a rich and wonderfully flowing look. So that even when closed, there is fullness to them.

CAN I USE MY OWN HOOKS?
We recommend using our Nordic Knots hooks. Choose low hooks for curtains on track and high hooks for curtains on rod with rings.
SHOULD I USE TRACK OR ROD?
The curtains works well with both track or rod. Please see our curtain guide to see images showing both rail and rod in use.
WHAT SIZE SHOULD THE CURTAIN ROD BE IN DIAMETER?
Our curtains works great with any diameter between 0.4 - 1.18 inches.
