HOW TO MEASURE FOR CURTAIN LENGTH
To measure the length of the curtain, you should use the ceiling as a reference point for measuring. If you have the opportunity to mount the curtain directly to the ceiling with a track, then this will create a more grand and elevated look. If this is not possible, try to mount the track or rod as close to the ceiling as possible to add more height to the room.

PREFERRED LENGTH OF THE PANELS?
Measuring the length of your curtains is easily done. To get your curtain’s unique drop dimensions, the ceiling is the reference point – not the window. Hang your curtains as close to the ceiling as possible to give the room a grand feeling, and let them fall all the way down to the floor. When in doubt, err on the side of longer rather than shorter. We think a generous amount of fabric adds a luxurious touch to any room.

HOW CLOSE TO THE CEILING SHOULD I MOUNT MY HARDWARE?
To achieve a grand look, mount the track as close to the ceiling as possible or directly onto the ceiling. If you have crown molding, install the hardware with wall brackets just below.
We recommend installing the rod at least 45 inches above the window.
CEILING MOUNTING: HOW FAR FROM THE WALL SHOULD I INSTALL MY TRACK?
We recommend installing the track at least 2-4 inches from the wall. To create a two layer curtain look, you should have at least 4 inches between the tracks. This way the curtains will have enough space for the pleats when open.
When deciding the instalment distance from the wall, please consider the placement of your radiators and/or windowsill.
I HAVE A RECESSED TRACK, WHAT HOOKS DO I USE?
We recommend using our Nordic Knots high curtain hooks with recessed tracks.
