UK Sales Manager – Trade & Contract

We are looking for a results-driven and dynamic Sales Manager with a proven track record in trade sales of design-led brands specialised in premium residential and hospitality interiors and ambitions to work within a fast growing digitally led business.

Based in London, the position will be instrumental to growth in one of our key global markets, making it a pivotal role to further build Nordic Knots’ presence among professional interior designers and trade clients across the UK.

The position is ideal for someone who is both a strategic thinker and a hands-on doer, with the ability to mentor and inspire a team, build and nurture a community of leading interior designers, while utilising our opportunity of effective digital outreach.

Working in close collaboration with our Chief Commercial Officer, Sales Director and trade sales teams in the US and Stockholm, the position will play a key part in developing strategies to increase our trade sales community, develop and execute loyalty-driving strategies and elevating our PRO platform and trade customer experience.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement effective strategies to drive trade sales and customer loyalty, lead acquisition and revenue growth
  • Expand our trade customer community and presence across London and key design markets throughout the UK, leveraging your existing network of interior designers, developers, and end-users in the residential development and hospitality sectors
  • Develop and oversee sales performance metrics, proactively identifying opportunities for growth and optimisation
  • Collaborate closely with the sales and support teams in to deliver a seamless client experience, while mentoring colleagues to support their development and performance across markets as we continue to build out our business across Europe
  • Continuously demonstrate initiative to support improvement our Nordic Knots PRO platform and trade client experience across onboarding, sales touchpoints to loyalty-building initiatives.
  • Activate go-to-market strategies as we expand our collections and invest in local market growth

Experience & Skills

  • Established network & industry credibility within the UK trade community with strong relationships across interior design, architecture, and hospitality firms
  • A minimum of 5+ years of relevant sales expertise with a successful track record of converting leads into loyal clients and driving sustained revenue through relationship-driven strategies
  • You are a trusted design partner with a keen eye for design, materials and craftsmanship, seen as a credible advisor who clients rely on for aesthetic and functional guidance
  • Commercial and business-oriented thinker who thrives in a hands-on role and environment
  • You approach sales with a data- and results-driven mindset to inform decisions, track performance, and identify opportunities for growth and optimisation
  • Exceptional negotiation & communication skills
  • Experience with rug or textile brands preferred
