Sourcing & Production Manager - Stockholm
Nordic Knots is looking for a Sourcing & Production Manager for our newly developed soft goods and textiles categories. We are looking for someone with a truly entrepreneurial spirit who has lengthy experience in the home goods and furniture space with a very strong network within textile products sourcing and production. The role reports to our co-founder.
Your main responsibilities will be to
- Source best-in-class suppliers for each product range and continuously negotiate and develop vendor relationships for best possible outcome to meet company KPIs
- Secure sourcing of the highest quality of materials required to meet design briefs and target margins
- Own the sampling process and work closely with our Design and Product Development team to meet design briefs and deadlines
- Analyze product data to forecast and secure volume of materials required for production
- Lead and monitor the production process from purchase order placement to quality control to ensure that all products are delivered on time and at the right quality
- Secure and actively work to improve the company’s high-quality standards and sustainability goals with all suppliers
Your Profile & Qualifications
- Strong leader with minimum 3 years experience in similar roles at adjacent companies
- Deep experience in sourcing and production with a very strong global network of suppliers within textiles and soft goods
- A deep understanding of the home textile and interior design business, including sustainability and regulatory standards
- Excellent negotiation skills and a highly efficient communicator
- Very strong entrepreneurial spirit with a can-do attitude and focus on new opportunities
- Great at problem solving, always ready with creative solutions
- Fluent in spoken and written English
- Ready to travel internationally on a frequent basis
