E-Commerce Director – Stockholm

Nordic Knots is looking for an E-Commerce Director to join our growing team in Stockholm. This is a key leadership role for someone who wants to drive the performance of our online business, helping to accelerate growth across both our DTC and Trade channels.

We’re building a company around thoughtful and long-lasting design, strong relationships, and great customer experiences. As E-Commerce Director, you’ll help us deliver on that promise—ensuring our website not only reflects our brand but also performs as a best-in-class digital storefront.

About the role

Reporting to the Chief Growth Officer, you’ll lead the global e-commerce strategy for Nordic Knots, with responsibility for revenue performance, site experience, merchandising, and conversion. This role blends commercial acumen with a sharp eye for digital UX, combining business goals with customer-centric execution.

You’ll oversee the full e-commerce funnel—from landing experience to checkout—working closely with growth, CRM, tech, and creative teams to build and optimise a seamless shopping journey. You’ll also lead a small but growing e-commerce team, helping to shape the function as we scale.

As we continue to expand into new markets and product categories, you’ll play a critical role in aligning digital strategy with company-wide growth goals, ensuring our online experience supports both inspiration and conversion.

What you’ll do

  • Responsible for e-commerce performance across DTC and Trade
  • Lead the site merchandising, UX, and CRO strategy
  • Oversee day-to-day site operations and ensure product launches, promotions, and content updates run smoothly
  • Partner with tech and design teams to improve site architecture, navigation, and customer journey
  • Use analytics and customer insights to drive conversion and retention improvements
  • Collaborate closely with marketing, CRM, and creative teams to align digital storytelling with business goals
  • Lead and develop the e-commerce team, ensuring clear focus and accountability
  • Help define our omnichannel strategy as we expand into physical retail and new digital experiences

What we’re looking for

  • 6+ years of experience in e-commerce, ideally in a DTC brand or high-growth retail environment
  • A mix of strategic thinking and operational know-how—you can zoom out and lead, but also roll up your sleeves
  • Strong understanding of UX, analytics, and conversion optimisation
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams including tech, design, growth, and logistics
  • Proven ability to manage and improve an e-commerce P&L
  • Experience with merchandising and content planning across global markets
  • Comfortable using analytics tools to guide decisions (GA4, Looker, etc.)
  • Fluent in English
