The Grid Collection

A minimalist foundation to your home.

Chestnut colored plush rug Grid in a palace like space.

The grid. A foundation for beautiful expression.

A design necessity, the grid is the starting point of many things: a gridded notebook waiting for ideas; on an architect or engineer's blueprint; in the camera viewfinder; it was the grid which aided Leonardo da Vinci to create the Vitruvian Man and Golden Ratio. The grid exists to create beautiful things, to guide us between compositions, proportions and space. The Grid Collection was created to do the same — be the foundation to the most beautiful homes.

White plush rug Grid in a palace like space with a large marble sculpture in the background.

Inspired by minimalist design and brutalist architecture with its neutral colour palette, plush cut-pile quality and sparse design, the Grid Collection further emphasises this idea of a rug being a grounding foundation that can easily be added to and have a world built around it.

Photographed in a neoclassical building from 1924, in Copenhagen. The majestic space was styled by Copenhagen-based collector Nicolai Hecht. Hecht paired the new rugs with furniture and objects by contemporary minimalist designers. Most of the designs are made out of metals such as solid bronze, stainless steel and aluminum and have a distinct raw and brutalist aesthetic. The bold objects beautifully juxtapose the minimalist soft rugs as well as the grand scale and classical lines of the building.

The Grid Collection is available from November 10th.
