Shipping Coordinator
We are looking for a Shipping Coordinator to ensure that we have the right products in the right location at the right time to the right cost.
About the role
As Shipping Coordinator, you will be responsible for planning, booking, and coordinating transports across our supply chain. This includes container shipments from India, truck transports from various countries in Europe, air shipments when needed and various internal shipments. You will play a key role in ensuring that goods arrive on time, at the right cost, and with clear internal communication along the way.
This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys structure, problem-solving, and working with many stakeholders in an international environment.
What you’ll do
- Be the main contact person for our transport partners regarding inbound and intercompany shipments
- Daily booking and monitoring of transports and to communicate with stakeholders of arrival and similar relevant information
- Responsible for setting up lanes, monitor and follow up on carriers performance and cost.
- Creating relevant documentation to assist the shipments
- Be Nordic Knots main source of knowledge when it comes to trade terms, carrier performance, transportation cost and incoterms
- Responsible for customs processes, regulations and compliance
- Quickly act to deviations and correct any issues
- Work closely with suppliers and internal stakeholders to continuously improve logistics processes, cost efficiency, and delivery reliability
What we’re looking for
- You have experience in shipping and supply chain coordination
- You are structured, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple shipments simultaneously
- Good understanding of customs procedures and import regulations, particularly for EU and US
- You are a skilled communicator with both external partners and internal teams
- You are solution-oriented and have a drive for action
- You are fluent in English, both written and spoken
- You have a work permit for Sweden
