Accountant
Nordic Knots is looking for an Accountant to join our team in Stockholm. We are looking for someone with a strong accounting background who thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Nordic Knots is a fast-growing direct-to-consumer Scandinavian interior design brand with the USA as the major market. Nordic Knots was founded in 2016 and born from a culture of thoughtful design that lasts beyond seasons and trends. Fusing function and aesthetics with a Scandinavian sensibility, we craft timeless rugs and textiles for the modern home. The head office as well as the flagship store is located at Birger Jarlsgatan in central Stockholm. We have a constantly growing team in both Stockholm and New York.
The Role
As an Accountant at Nordic Knots you will perform the ongoing accounting and make sure that we always are up to date in every daily, weekly and monthly routine. You will support the finance team in making sure that our financial records are consistently accurate and play a big part in helping us to meet important reporting deadlines. You will be involved in the monthly and annual closing. You will get the opportunity to make an impact as the business continues to scale up.
Some of your responsibilities will be to
- Perform the daily/monthly/annual accounting work and processes (US & Sweden)
- Reconciliations (US & Sweden)
- Support on VAT and tax reporting
Skills and requirements
- 3+ years background in the accounting field
- Some knowledge in group consolidation and accounting rules and regulations, specifically K3 and Group Accounting
- Hands-on experience in Microsoft Business Central or Microsoft Navision
- Experience from e-commerce or consumer goods businesses with inventory management
- Experience from US accounting rules and regulations is a big plus
- Fluency in Swedish/English
